Marty gets another BIG loss

That was one of the most stupid bits of coaching I've ever seen. In OT, having LT from the 23 yd line, run 3 straight runs into the line when the Jets had the line stacked and were waiting for him. An end sweep would have gained decent yardage and made the FG try much easier.Or even 1 safe pass to gain 5-6 yards. Somebody on the board made a post earlier saying that Schottenheimer usually screws up his teams playoff games. He certainly did it there.

Also in there is a loss to Denver when KC won the division and was at home......

the biggest bonehead move marty made was not putting the ball in the middle of the field for the OT FG attempt. kaeding's kick was straight - just straight to the right. put it in the middle of the field and NYJ's flight home is for good and SD is the one boarding a plane for another game next weekend.

Winky, going to disagree with you here. Kaeding has said he likes the ball on the right hash to "Draw" the ball in. Already tired of Marty-bashing for end of this game. An NFL kicker needs to make a 40 yd FG with his team's season on the line. No excuses! If Kaeding makes the kick as he should nobody would be questioning centering the ball or going too conservative at the end. I could name at least 15-20 kickers who would be so automatic in that situation, you could turn the TV off before watching the kick (Hanson, Anderson, Anderson, Akers, Elam, Carney, Reed, Longwell, Janikowski, Vanderjaagt, Kasay, Feeley, Stover, Vinatierri, Edinger, etc.....). If Kaeding isn't trustworthy from 49 yards with the game on the lines, don't draft him so high and sign a veteran (there are enough floating around). Marty didn't draft the kicker. His worst move of the game was coming out on the field and drawing a penalty (at the game it looked like it was roughing the punter)

Who cares because San Diego sucked. Marty can't coach. The Jets with all the adversity made it work for them and Brees or LT or any of the other offensive weapons played awful. San Diego took gor granted they could easily beat the Jets and it bit them in the ass. I am glad they are out of the playoffs. AFC side of SB is going to be New England or Pittsburgh any way.

when you get outcoached by Herm Edwards....you really have to look in the mirror and wonder how you even can get out of bed in the morning... I did have the J-E-T-S....but Marty proves once again that he is an idiot..
